Today 5.17.17 is your son Maysyn 5th birthday. We wish you here to celebrate with us. We are getting him this weekend, we love having him. We love you and think about you everyday Danny. Mom got Chloe a picture of you, and she kisses it every night now and tells you how much she misses you.

Your birthday is Friday and there isn't anything we want more than for you to be here with us. We are all going down to the beach to celebrate the life that you should have had. Been listening to "you should be here" by Cole Swindell, been on repeat for a week or two. It's not getting any easier without you, so whoever says that is lying. Our front door opened up Saturday evening when your mom, dad and sissy Beth were over having dinner. We all knew it was you walking through the door. We just wish we could have hugged you and greeted you like we always do.
You are forever on my mind, forever in our heart. Every year we shed, we try to turn it into a happy memory. Grateful to say we got so many good years with you. Brandon got his whole life and I got a good 15 years, if we get to count when we first met in school. If not, then I got the last 8 years to call you my family.
Until next time, rest easy champ, you are a legend in our mind.

Thinking about you a lot today. Thinking about back to when Kyle was born and you stayed at the hospital with us to keep Brandon company. Lots of good conversation and company. You were always there for us, always around. We miss you so much Danny. We think back on all the good times, try not to cry. We catch ourselves shedding tears almost everyday still. Brandon looks up new songs that remind us of you, then we listen to them all day for weeks until he finds another one. We just want life to be normal again, have you walk through our door to hang out. Smoke, listen to music and chill. You always brightened the mood. Please show us you are here still, we need you so bad. We love you brother, forever & always.

We miss you. ππ Somedays it is so hard to believe that you are really in heaven. We check your Facebook constantly, message you, text you just praying that you will respond and life will go back to normal.
Maysyn, Chloe and Kyle are great friends. We have Maysyn at least 1-2 times a week, sometimes more. He reminds us so much of you in so many ways. He has your smile, your walk, your wink, your personality. He is your mini me Danny, and we are so thankful to have him to live on your legacy.
Your life was taken way to soon. There was no way it was your time. You had just become happy again, you were just figuring out your life. You have a 4 year old son that needs you more than anything. You have so many family and friends who need you! We miss you so god damn much. We love you Danny, not a day goes by that you aren't talked about. Our kids bring you up on a daily basis. Kyle was eating dinner last night and just stopped and got sad. Said that he missed his Uncle Danny.
Life is so cruel sometimes. How are we supposed to live our life without you?! We have begged thousands of times for you to come back, but we know that isn't how it works. We love you Danny, forever & always.

As I sit watching Maysyn play I will always remember how excited Maysyn was when his dad would come and get him. He loved riding with Danny in his Honda's. He shares stories with me about these rides.
Every time Danny would leave our house, he would not only hug Maysyn goodbye he would make sure to include Maya and Makenna too. They all loved him very much.
I also remember anytime Kalli or I needed help with cars or moving he was more than willing to help. He would do it with a smile and help all he could without asking for anything in return.
For Danny only living 24 years he lived a full and eventful life. I think he is in Heaven helping my first husband (who also died in a car accident) fix cars for God. I told Maysyn I think God needed another good mechanic to help in Heaven and that some day we would all meet again in Heaven with Jesus.
It is a sad and difficult for everyone involved. I pray for comfort and peace as we remember the good times and celebrate his short life. Amen

I am thankful to have this handsome young man in my heart. He lives on through many, Maysyn will always be our reminder of what a kind good man he lived to be. I am in prayer for this family their journey of loss is great. Life is changed for them 4 ever. I pray in their grief they will remember their son father brother uncle cousin friend would want you to choose happiness on this journey of life. The healing process is very hard. The world is a sadder place without you Danny you touched so many lives and made them the better because you were in it. You always had a smile for everyone you loved or liked. I wish you were still here with your family and friends but god deemed it was time for one of his best angels to come home. No one knows why we just feel the loss. So you be in heaven and when its our time to come up i am sure you will be there to welcome us with a beatiful smile. It took a piece of alot of peoples hearts the day you left.
