I'm so sad to hear of Bert's passing! I was good friends with him and Steph in high school. I was fortunate to have reconnected with him in the last few years, at a few school reunions and going out to lunch many times, always laughing and reminiscing about fun school days! I have such great memories of both Bert and Steph from our days together at Grant High School. Wish I would have been able to see Bert before he passed, but I saw photos of him and he looked the same as he did in high school. There is peace in knowing that Bert and Steph are together again! I am so sorry for your loss..... it was so good to see Bert again after so many years... was looking forward to our 50th Grant Reunion with him present!! What a terrific man, brother, dad and friend..... he will be dearly missed....

I was so sorry to hear of Bert's passing. He was the toughest boss I ever worked for but never expected any more than he gave himself. He always had my back and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him. I am proud to have called him my friend!!
