William Tabler Clagett III

On the afternoon of July 31, 2024, Major William Tabler Clagett III passed away due to age related causes at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA. He was 85 years old.

William was born to William (Jr) and Anna Clagett in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree on the 4th of June, 1960 from the University of Maryland. He was a navigator in the Air Force, served in Vietnam, he was stationed in England where he met and married his wife, Lesley.  He retired in Spanaway, WA to raise his daughter. In 1992 he moved to Rochester, WA to live his remaining life on a farm.

William was an avid fisherman, hunter and incredibly talented artist.

William is preceded in death by his father, William Jr. and his mother, Anna. He is survived by his wife Lesley, and his only daughter, Shauna, and his two grandchildren, Britanna and Evangeline.
