Doug Weimer, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 17, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Regina, whose memory he carried in his heart always.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Jody, with whom he shared 45 years of love and memories, eight children—Craig, James, Jesse, Heidi, William, Trudy, Warren, and Sara—and 16 cherished grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.
Doug was a military veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He was known for his strong work ethic and versatility, holding many jobs over the years and owning a local business.
Outside of work, Doug held a deep passion for photography, using his camera to capture moments, people, and stories that reflected his creative spirit and appreciation for life. He found joy in music, leisure activities, and faithfully cheering on his favorite teams, the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners, rarely missing a game when he could watch or listen.
Doug will be remembered for his unwavering love of his family, his enthusiasm for photography, music, and sports, and the steady, caring presence he offered to all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the images he captured, and the family he loved deeply.
A private remembrance will be held by the family, with no public services. All who knew and loved him are invited to honor his memory in their own meaningful way.
