Tony Allen Dotson

Tony Dotson 81, of Glenoma, WA passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. He was born January 23, 1944 in Ira, VA to Earl and Ruby Dotson. 

In 1962 Tony graduated from Nicholas County High School in Summersville, West Virginia, he married his sweetheart Patty and enlisted in the Army. He served time in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1969. 

Tony moved his family to Randle, WA where he worked as a heavy equipment operator until retirement. He was a member of the Operating Engineers, Local 302-Seattle. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time hiking, fishing and hunting. He also was a talented Banjo player and enjoyed playing music with family and friends. 

Tony is survived by his children Patricia (Lou) Naillon, Robert Dotson, Elizabeth (Chad) Gross, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, brothers Ervin and Alvie, sisters Nell and Betty. He was preceeded in death by his wife Patty, parents Earl and Ruby, brothers Dennis and Sam and sister Dixie.

A Graveside service will be held at Rainey Valley Cemetery in Glenoma on October 22, at 1 PM.
