Timothy Don Bond Obituary

Timothy Don Bond was born in Longview, Washington to Son and Rosalie Bond on January 1, 1964.  He was the first baby born in Cowlitz County that year this being his first claim to fame.

He was raised in Toledo, Washington, graduating Toledo High School,  Class of ’82,  being recognized as a standout athlete.  He continued his education at Spokane Community College while playing football, receiving a degree in Airplane Mechanics.  After obtaining his degree he worked for Boeing for 14 years.   Developing and building the stealth bomber, quite possibly his lesser known claim to fame.  Tim spent the next 24 years working for Trans Alta.

Tim had many hobbies over his lifetime with hunting taking priority each fall. In his early years he hunted with his Dad and Grandpa.  Annually he spent time at Elk Camp with his buddies.  In the past few years, he enjoyed the sport with his daughter Tarin and her husband Tyson.  Most recently he brought his grandson Beau into the fold.   Aside from hunting, he enjoyed restoring International Scouts, working on cars, and spending time camping at the lake with his wife Pam.

Tim was a proud softball and volleyball Dad to Tarin and Alexa.  Transitioning into the role of Papa Tim brought him great joy.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Lynnval (Sonny).  He is survived by his wife Pam, daughters Tarin (Tyson), and Alexa (Trevor), bonus children Nick (Tara) and Megan,  Mom Rosalie, grandchildren Beau, Bennett, Evelyn, Berkeley, Emilia, Loraine, and Weston.  Siblings: Lynn (Tom), Shirley (Ed), Roxann, In Laws: Debbie (Mike), Gary (Sherry), Patsy (Corky), Greg (Barb), Terry (Jeff).   He has many uncles, aunts, and cousins.  Tim was greatly loved by all and will certainly be missed.
