It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Stanley Mitchell Combs Sr., who left us on September 19, 2024, at the age of 70, in Centralia. Stanley was born July 27, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas to Raymond Delvis Combs and Betty Lou Seines Combs.
Stanley spent time growing up in Hinkley, California before his family moved to Washington state in 1965, ultimately settling in Centralia, where he graduated high school in 1972.
Stanley spent many years working locally for companies such as Moduline, Quali-Cast (Atlas), Aluminite Northwest, and most recently Unitized Industries West before retiring.
After retiring in 2019, he spent his time doing what he loved most – fishing, going for long drives, spending time with his family and making everyone around him laugh.
Stanley was preceded in death by his father Raymond, mother Betty, sister Sharon, sister Yvonne and brother Clinton. He is survived by his wife Sherry, children: Kandi McDonald, Scotty Combs, Stanley Combs Jr., Cameron Combs, grandchildren: Kallie McDonald, Kerra McDonald, Tanner McDonald, great grandchildren: Kaysen and Aria McKeever, as well as brother Delvis (Wilma) Combs, sister Ramona (Gene) Horst, brother Mark Combs, sister Oleta Fitch, brother Robin Combs, brother-in- law Jesse Garcia, cousins: Clifford Seines and Susan Peterson Fleer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Borst Park Kitchen #1 on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 2pm. All who knew and loved him are welcome to come and share their stories.
