Shelly Lynn Chase

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shelly Lynn Martin (Franson Chase), a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She passed away on October 10th, 2025, at the age of 60, from a long fought battle with cancer.

Shelly was born in Stayton, Oregon, on November 25th,1964 to Neal “Del” & Bonnie (Parker) Martin. She spent her life dedicated to her family and found great joy during the holidays, where she would get to decorate and spoil her grandkids. Her home was always a welcoming place, filled with open arms and kindness.

Throughout her life, Shelly was known for her love for her family and friends, her kindness, and her “mothering aspect” that extended to everyone in her life. She had a deep and lasting impact on everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Shannon; her children, daughters Monica (Thomas) & Mikayla (Dean), and sons Eric & Shane (Kennedi). She was the proud grandmother of Dylan, Paislee, Cole, Bradlee, Zoey, Sutton, and Rhett, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her siblings, Shirley, Nancy, Stormy, and Jerry, and nephew, nieces, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Neal “Del” Martin.

Shelly's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her love and kindness.
