Sandra L Manberg

SANDRA LEE MANBERG Sandra Lee Manberg was born on February 14, 1950 in Shelton, Washington to Walter A. and Maxine M. (Holmes) Manberg. Sandy died on May 31, 2019 after a five-year battle with cancer. She is survived by her brother, Dean (Jan); and her cousins, Vicky (Marv) Matheny; Richard Holmes; Diane Pinkerton; and Brad (Kathy) Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her parents and her cousin, Gary (Kim) Brossard. Sandy was raised in Shelton, but moved to Chehalis when her father went to work for Weyerhauser. She graduated from W.F. West in 1968. For over 25 years, Sandy was a caregiver. She ran a group home for three mentally challenged women for a time, and then went to work for Catholic Community Services for over 20 years as an in-house caregiver. Sandy was a devout Christian and cherished her relationship with God. She was quiet, modest, gentle, and warm-hearted. Her other great love was animals, especially cats, of which she had many. She will be missed by her family and her family in Christ. A Celebration of Life (or, The Last Coffee, as her Swedish heritage calls it), will be held on Saturday, July 13.
