Obituary

Richard Anton Hadaller 1930-2022

 

Richard Anton Hadaller passed away after a short stay at Love and Care Adult Family Home in Morton at the age or 92. He was born June 4th to Matthew and Elizabeth Hadaller. He grew up in Ethel and later lived in Salkum.

Richard served in the Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany and served as an MP for a time.

Richard and his first wife, Emilie, made a home with their four children in Ethel, he was employed as logger and then worked in construction.  He took his young family to pick berries, peel cascara, clam digging and fishing on the Cowlitz River.

Later in life, Richard enjoyed traveling, square dancing, going to the Senior Citizen Centers, eating out and visiting people.  He often bragged about his children to other people.

Richard leaves behind 4 children, John (Debra) Hadaller, Jim Hadaller, Julie Hadaller and Tom (Lisa) Hadaller.  He had five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

There is no memorial service planned at this time.

 

There will be a graveside service on August 23, 2022 at 5:30 PM at Ethel Cemetery.
