Patricia Ann Veenstra
1946 – 2025
Patricia Ann Veenstra went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Winlock, Washington, at the age of 79. After a recent diagnosis of ovarian cancer and a brief illness, she spent her final days in the comfort of an adult family home, surrounded by care and love.
Patricia moved to Washington state nearly three and a half years ago and made her home alongside her cousins, living with Jim Barton in a home next to John (Donna) Barton in Winlock. She found joy in the simple pleasures of her new surroundings, attending the local Assembly of God church and embracing the peace and beauty of the western Washington mountains.
A woman of unwavering faith, Patricia centered her life around Christ. Her trust in the Lord gave her strength and comfort, especially during her final days. Her faith remained steadfast and evident to all who knew her.
Patricia is survived by her son, Tim Eller of Middleville, Michigan; her daughter, Tracy Skipper (Bob) of Byron Center, Michigan; and her beloved grandchildren: Dr. Brit Loughran (Danny), Brock Eller, Bryce Eller, Trevor Skipper, and Justin Skipper. She is also survived by her brother, Jim Clanche (Donna), and her cousin, Jim Barton.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the local hospital, nursing home, and hospice staff for their compassionate care. A special thank you is given to cousin Jim Barton for his daily visits and dedicated care during Patricia’s final journey.
Patricia’s life was a testimony of grace, kindness, and unshakable faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
