Lifetime resident of Toledo, WA, Naomi Meyer passed away on Dec. 11, 2025, at the age of 91.
Naomi was born on May 15, 1934, to Elizabeth & Carl Martin. She graduated from Toledo High School in 1952 and married Louis J. Meyer in 1953. They started their family in 1954.
After raising her family, Naomi went to work for Toledo Elementary School from the late 1970’s until retiring in 2003. She was also a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier parish where she had been a member of the Pastoral Council, Altar Society and St. Jude Circle.
Naomi was proceeded in death by her husband Louis and daughter Mary Kathleen. She is survived by her 7 children, Daniel Meyer (Leta), Paula Meyer, Kenneth Meyer (Sue), Mark Meyer, Patricia Moilanen (Kevin), Jane Meyer-Groll and Karen Hollenbeck (Vaughan), as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the care team at PeaceHealth Richard Nau Hospice Center in Longview, WA for the excellent care and kindness they showed to our mom and family.
A funeral mass will be held at St Francis Xavier Mission located at 139 Spencer Rd, Toledo, WA, on Dec. 22, 2025, at 11am. Reception at the church hall following.
