In profound sadness, we announce the untimely passing of Matthew (Matt) Jon Klemmensen 12/20/2025 at 68 years old.

A life-long skeptic, and enthusiastic dreamer, Matt loved new adventures, interesting conspiracies, and a cold beer on a warm afternoon. He had a soft spot for all things Bigfoot, UFO and alien sightings, and nutcracker statues. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends and watching his grandchildren grow.

As Helen Keller wisely wrote, “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” Matt’s legacy lives on in every memory shared and every heart he touched.

He was preceded in death by parents Jerome and Elizabeth and brother Mark.

Matt’s passing left wife Bea, devoted sons Matthew II (Anya) and John (Heather), as well as precious grandchildren Jack, Sasha, Ellis, Eli and Matthew III.

He was also survived by dear friends, brother Jay and sisters Julie, Anna, Lisa, Aimee and Holly, along with their families.

Matt also held a quiet, enduring yearning in his heart for his daughter Melissa and grandchildren Austin and Olivia.
