Mary Louise Parmentier

Mary Parmentier, age 83, was born October 18, 1941, and passed away on Sunday, the 22nd of December 2024 at home with her partner of forty years James Wahlstrom. 

Mary is survived by her partner Jim, a daughter, Bonnie (Howard) Treffry; two grandchildren, Sarah Dinsmoor and Christopher Young; two brothers, Robert Parmentier and Edward Parmentier; a sister, Eva Parmentier, two great grandsons; and eight nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Brenda Beck; parents Ray Parmentier and Margaret Calvin; brother Larry Parmentier and sister Joanne Ridgeway.

Mary cherished time with family and friends, music, reading, gardening, quilting, boating, hiking, carpentry and cooking.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Newaukum Grange on January 18th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Shriner's Children's Portland, St. Jude's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
