Obituary

 Marlene Ruth (Dahl) VanTassel was born the first or four children on May 7th, 1941, and passed away March 16th 2023.

 

She graduated from Auburn Academy in 1959 and attended Pacific Union College, Angwin, California.

 

 Following retirement she and her husband settled in Scappoose, Oregon.  She was known for her love of animals, her talent of quilting, bobbin lace, needlepoint, and other handiwork. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Conrad Lamar Van Tassel of St Helens, Oregon, her sister Maurene  Dahl Stubbins (Ed), Rochester, Washington,  nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John C, and Marjorie Dahl, Brothers J. Roger Dahl and Rollan Dahl.

 

An informal graveside gathering will be held at Grand Mound cemetery, Rochester, on April 7th 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
