Marjorie K Reichert

Marjorie Katheryn Reichert (Mimi) 82 of Curtis passed away on 9-25-18 after a brief hospital stay for injuries sustained in an auto accident. Marjorie was born on 2-10-1936 in San Jose California to Frank and Mary Rose. She had 2 older Siblings Frank and Shirley and 9 years later a younger sister Marilyn. Her brother Frank brought home his army buddy Orvel Reichert once they returned from Korea. Marjorie and Orvel were married in 1955. Marjorie worked at a number of jobs in the book keeping and record keeping field prior to the birth of her children. Marjorie was a stay at home mom raising her 2 boys Kurt and Eric. She also provided child care in the home. Orvels Job moved the family from the Modesto area to San Bruno then Chico finally to Concord. After Orvel retired they moved to Curtis Washington where she has lived for the last 24 years. Marjorie volunteered at the local library as a member of the friends of the library as well as the local school. She was a Grange member of the Baw Faw grange and attended the local Boistfort Valley Church that met at the Grange. Marjorie is survived by her 2 sons Kurt Reichert of Curtis and Eric Reichert of Vancouver, as well as three grandchildren, Karl Reichert of Vancouver, Rina James of Tucson, and Caleb Reichert of Curtis. Her brother Frank Rose of Saratoga, her sisters Shirley Campisi of Santa Clara and Marilyn Lancaster of Monitor. She also had numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband Orvel, proceeded her in death in 2013. A memorial for friends and family will be held on 10-6-18 at the Baw Faw grange starting at 10 Am, Pastor Marcus Reed will be officiating.
