Marie Denning Obituary

Marie Ellen Barnett Denning passed away peacefully October 15, 2018 at Providence Centralia Hospital at the age of eighty-three. Marie was born to her loving parents Franklyn Guy Barnett and Ruth Parthena Briggs Barnett on May 9, 1935 in Seattle, Washington.

Marie met her true love Jay Moss Denning at a dance hall and they were married February 28, 1951. Marie and Jay started their family and had two children Franklyn Denning and Anna Denning Adams. Marie and Jay were blessed with ten grandchildren. Other than the love for her family, Marie loved handwork and was known for her beautiful knitting abilities.

Marie’s husband Jay passed away on September 1, 2018, six weeks before her passing. A private family service will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington, where Jay and Marie will be laid to rest. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock.
