We announce the passing of Lorenzo Marquis Sarabia, 28, on March 28, 2024, with deep sadness and heavy hearts. He was born December 21, 1995, in Alamogordo to Lori Sarabia and Roland Camps. Lorenzo, a bright light on gloomy days, constantly radiated joy with a perpetual smile, cherishing moments with loved ones and bringing laughter to all since childhood. His selfless nature, encapsulated by his favorite phrase, "No Tengas Miedo, " - meaning "Do not be afraid," exemplified his caring soul. We find solace in believing that he now watches over his family.
His absence leaves behind a void that echoes through the hearts of those he cherished dearly. Those who now carry the wight of sorrow are his beloved wife, Kimberly Ann, his son, Leyton Michael Sarabia, and his daughter, Leilani Luella Sarabia. The grief extends to his parents, Lori Sarabia and Roland Camps, as well as Stepmother, RyLee. Leticia and Leondro Sarabia, his siblings, also share in the propound loss. The loving memory of his maternal grandparents, Will and Rachel Manning, and paternal grandparent, Roland Camps, lingers on alongside the countless relatives and friends who now navigate the sad path of remembrance.
His passing was marked by the departure of his maternal great-grandmother, Maria Herrera Sarabia, and paternal grandmother, Virginia Camps.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church, 4175 Lavender Drive. Visitations will begin at 9:00 A.M. the Funeral Service will commence at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Lester Reyes will officiate. Following the services, cremation will take place, and inurnment will be at a later date.
Service arrangements have been entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels of Las Cruces and Sunset Crematory.
