Lois Janine Dye Obituary
Lois J Dye(Zupan) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and overwhelming love on May 7, 2026, at the age of 72, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on May 9, 1953, in Vancouver, Washington, to Thomas and Faye Renfro where she was raised alongside her three sisters.
She dedicated much of her life to caring for others through nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for 32 years, beginning her career at Southwest Washington Medical Center, now PeaceHealth Medical Center, in Vancouver, Washington. After moving her family to Randle, Washington, in 1998, she continued her nursing career at Morton General Hospital until 2009. She also spent several years volunteering with the Randle Fire Department, continuing her lifelong desire to help people in times of need.
Later in life, she purchased and operated the Randle Motel as part of her retirement. It became a place where she met people from all walks of life and from many different places and making many friends along the way, something she truly enjoyed. She never met a stranger for long and was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others whenever she could.
More than anything, she loved her family and the life she built around them. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny; her children, Don, Scott(Tabetha), Megan(Seth), and Tessa; her sisters, Kay and Betty; nine grandchildren, Tanya, Jessica, Lauren, Josh, Nathan, Dylan, Lucas, Raelynd, and Emma; and one great-grandson, Leo, with another on the way. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends that felt more like family. Welcoming her in Heaven are her parents, Tom and Faye Renfro, and sister, Anita.
A service will be held on June 27th at 2pm at Reconciled Christian Fellowship, 130 Morris Road, Randle WA. A reception to follow at the Randle Fire Hall.
