Linda Gay Watson was born to Virgil and Ella May Watson on May 15th, 1948 in Sedro Woolley Washington.
She was raised in Vader Washington where she attended grade school and then went on to Toledo High school.
She eventually earned her G.E.D. In her thirties which was one of her proudest moments.
Linda was known for her feisty attitude and colorful speaking. She was also famous for showing her middle finger as a response in many situations(good or bad).
She worked many positions over the years to include janitorial work on Whidbey Island, building boats in Kansas, and being a waitress at the Little Crane Cafe in Vader where she was a local celebrity.
She was known for her sharp wit and giant heart. She had no shortage of great and amazing friends in her life, whether living on a Navy Base as a Sailors wife, or in the far reaches of Kansas-Linda always made lifelong friends.
Her love of her grandchildren over her own children was known and accepted by all.
She became a second mom to many and was called “Nana” by other peoples children which didn’t seem to bother her one bit.
She enjoyed trips to the beach and Mt. Saint Helens as much as she enjoyed meals at cafe with her adult children. She was a die hard Seahawks fan, a patriot who believed in God and country, and a mother who loved her children to the end.
Linda took her last breath and stepped into glory on June 4, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, as well as her brothers John.B Watson and Burliss (Butch) Watson.
She is survived by her oldest son, Ron Lowrey of Toledo, WA, son Brian Hill of Seabeck, WA, and daughter Angela Hill-Grove of Valley,Wa.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
