John Gardin Jr. Obituary

John Gardin Jr., was born in Marion, N.C., Jan. 5, 1930, to John Gardin Sr. and Clara Gardin. He was the oldest of six children. John married Mamie Lamb Aug. 9, 1948. Their life together, brought them four children. He was a good Christian, always standing for what was right. His life began in the timber business in North Carolina, moving into electronics, which moved him to Washington state, where he later re-entered the timber industry. John was a proud and loving grandpa of nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He went to be with his savior June 12, 2018. He will be forever missed. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the Toledo First Baptist Church, with a luncheon to follow. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock.
