With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jeffrey Suren Rashoff, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, proud papa, and beloved friend. Surrounded by his family, Jeff passed away at his home in Eatonville, WA, on February 22, 2026, at the age of 63, following a courageous battle with ALS. Jeff was born in Chehalis, WA on February 20,1963 to Carl and May (Sawyer) Rashoff of Glenoma, WA. After graduating from White Pass High School in 1981, he went on to graduate from Yakima Valley College with an automotive technician degree.
Jeff dedicated his career to working as an auto mechanic-- a profession he took great pride in. He earned the trust of countless customers and friends who relied on his expertise and integrity. There wasn’t an engine he couldn’t fix or a problem he couldn’t solve.
On September 7, 1985, Jeff married the love of his life Darci Brown of Grandview, WA. Jeff and Darci went on to raise three children. His greatest joy came from being “Papa” to his six grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, generosity and the vibrant energy he brought into every room. He found joy in the simple pleasures in life---whether it was hunting, spending peaceful days boating, playing slow-pitch, coaching and mentoring others or talking about his beloved Fords. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Darci Rashoff; their sons, Drake Rashoff (Sarah) and Kaleb Rashoff; and their daughter, Molly Brix (Craig). He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren—Scarlett, Colter, Rhett, Reese, Weslynn, and Lydia—all of Eatonville, WA. Jeff is also survived by his siblings: Monita Delong (Jack) of Packwood, WA; Ron Rashoff (Lori) of Silver Creek, WA; Kaney Rashoff of Onalaska, WA; and Kellee Skovbo (Mike) of Green Valley, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Rashoff and May Rashoff Gregory, and by his nephew, Ryan Rashoff.
