James "Buck" Buchanan Obituary
James "Buck" Richard Buchanan, beloved son, husband, and father passed away November 5th in Tacoma, WA.
Born in Wenatchee, he grew up in the Entiat Valley. He loved sports and played baseball, basketball, and football in high school. Pursuing his love of education, he graduated with a major in education from Central Washington University in 1970 and received his masters in education in 1990.
After a rewarding 31 years teaching and coaching in Naselle, Pe Ell, and Winlock, he retired in 2003. Always wanting to be involved and help serve his community he joined the Winlock Fire Department from 2001-2010.
He leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Lorene, two daughters Michelle and Erin, grandson Patrick, mother Acenath, and two brothers Bill and Mick.
Service will be held at Christian Fellowship of Winlock on November 20th at 1pm.
