Gordon Grover Fleming

(March 3, 1932- September 7, 2024)

On Sept. 7, 2024 Gordon Grover Fleming passed away at the age of 92.  He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Harriett, son, Andy, of Couer d' Alene, ID and daughter Katie, of Woodland, WA.  He was preceded by his older brother Donald and younger brother Ted, and his grandson, Kirk.

Born to Grover and Helen Olson Fleming, Gordon grew up in Aberdeen, WA then served in the US Navy, during the Korean era. He attended Engine Deisel School in Los Angeles, California and business classes at Grays Harbor Community College and worked as a general contractor and then as an owner of Les Schwab Tires in Elma, WA.  

Gordon loved the Lord, and his family, as well as woodworking and fishing.  He could fix anything and had a fantastic sense of humor as well as work ethic.  His larger than life personality will be greatly missed but his memory will live on in the hearts and lives of those he touched.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 11 AM at the Napavine Cemetery.
