George “Punk” Ball of Glenoma, WA passed away May 30, 2026 at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
Punk was born June 18, 1944 in Morton, WA., the son of Clara and James Ball. He went to Glenoma Grade School and graduated from White Pass High School.
Punk spent a lot of summers at his grandma Tiller ‘s farm spending time with all of his cousins.
Punk was the rock of the whole family and it was a big family. Punk is survived by his wife Linda, and they were married 54 years. Punk and Linda made their home in Glenoma, WA. He is also survived by two grandsons, Jesse bridges and Austin Cheney and one great granddaughter, Journey Bridges. He loved each of them so much. Punk took them hunting, fishing and taught each one how to drive his John Deere tractor. He loved and spoiled each one of them.
He had numerous nieces and nephew’s that he loved dearly. They would usually have a house full of kids and loved every minute of it. They all loved their Uncle Punk.
He is survived by his wife Linda, brother Delbert Workman, sisters Trula “Cookie” Stamper and Sharon Holcomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clara and James Ball, brothers Dale Workman, Ed Workman, Jim Ball, sisters, Mina Cheney, Corbetta “Corki” Deliso, and Verna Powell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20 at 12 PM at the Glenoma Fire Hall.
