Francis John Malone Jr.

Francis John Malone Jr “John” died at the age of 70 on May 19th, 2025, from cancer at St Peters Hospital. He was born on January 29th, 1955, in The Dalles, Oregon, the oldest of five siblings, and grew up in Adna, WA on the family farm.

John enjoyed his time hunting, working on and riding motorcycles, and traveling to Idaho to see his friend Kelly Hearn. He also spent his spare time taking care of the people around him, offering his help to whoever needed it. John retired on his birthday January 29th, 2025, from VJ’s Builder Barn and loved his co-workers and customers.

He is survived by two boys, Keith and Aaron with five grandchildren Derrick, Jordyn, Logan, Aislinn and Kasey, and sisters Chris Knudsvig, Gloria (Nile) Millam, Karen (Ted) Liston, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, a longtime partner, Tammy Nyholm and her family Kaylee and Rylee.  John was preceded in death by his father Francis, mother Vaneta, and brother Rollie.

A celebration of life service will be held on May 24th at 1:00pm at Baw Faw Grange in Boistfort.
