Edward Miller Obituary

Edward "Terry" Miller

July 11, 1946 - November 25, 2025

Edward "Terry" Miller, 79, of Centralia, Washington, passed to the loving arms of Jesus at his home on November 25, 2025 in the home he had just moved into 7 months prior.  His wife and children were with him.

Terry was born on July 11, 1946 in Chehalis to William and Harriet Miller of Lebam, WA.  The youngest of three.  He has fond memories of the town, starting school there and moving to PeEll when he was in 3rd grade.  Many more fond memories made there and traveling to the beach and vacations to California.  He loved his growing up years there and made many friends and continued with those friends until his last days. Once you were his friend, always his friend.

After graduating from high school in 1964, he worked for Weyerhaeuser for a short period and then entered the Army in 1965. On leave at a City Hall dance, he met his soon to be wife, Kristine Rasmnussen.  After his discharge in 1968, they reconnected and were married in June of 1969.  Together they raised twins, Jody James Miller and Jenni Ranae Miller.  The blessings of his life.

At the time he was working for Palmer Lumber and I think that's where our love for redoing and flipping "many" homes came from.  Twenty Three to be exact. As we started our family, he went to work for Downey Subaru, started Vacuuman, PUD and then the Steam Plant.  Wanting to work for himself and having the love of camping and travel, he purchased Hendersons Trailer Sales with his friend Spud Downie.  Later moving the business to Kresky Ave and naming it Twin City RV.  Sold the RV business to Uhlmann Motors and later became a partner in that business with George Godding and Tom Nicholas, receiving many Dealer Awards in sales.  Our customers became our friends.  Traveling in caravans to many states with our customers.  Retired in 2003 after selling Uhlmann Motors and RV.  Spent the next 20+ years snowbirding to AZ and traveling in winter months and the Northwest for summer.

Terry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kristine (Rasmussen) Miller of Centralia, WA; his children, Jody (Casey) Miller of Adna, Jenni (Joe Gillum) Miller of Centralia, his grandchildren, Madeline Hohner of Bozeman, MT, Austin Hohner of Vancouver, WA, Cohen Miller of Adna and Alli Rose of Centralia, WA.

He is survived by siblings, Janet (Jerry) Whittig and Diane (Rob Bledsoe) Totten and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many many dear friends.

Terry will be remembered for his jokester style (especially making work fun for him and the employees), loving Jesus, his family and friends, the world's greatest salesman and his 320 cars; the last one being the 1964 Malibu SS just purchased in June of this year.
