Caleb Michael Campbell

Caleb Campbell 1984 ~ 2023 Caleb Michael Campbell, 38, of Chehalis, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Caleb was born on Oct. 4, 1984, to Robert and C. Deane Campbell in Chehalis, Washington. After graduating from W.F. West in 2003, he went on to briefly study horticulture at Centralia College and had recently decided to pursue a welding certification at the college. Caleb worked for various entities over the years as a general laborer, eventually becoming self-employed as a landscaper and general laborer. Being self-employed allowed Caleb to satisfy his natural curiosity about people by meeting many new clients, who often became friends as well as customers. Caleb was a large man with a large heart, a gentle giant whose love was unconditional. He accepted people as they are and didn’t feel it was his place to stand in judgment. He spoke about wanting to meet someone with whom to share his life, but not until he felt financially prepared to create a proper home for a much-desired family. It is a tragedy this never came to pass. His greatest joy was being a loving uncle to nephews, Christopher and Cory Woods, who will forever carry Caleb in their hearts. He is also survived by his parents, Rob and Deane Campbell; his sister, Sharon “Cassy” Woods; his grandmother, Geri Campbell; as well as loving aunts Lori Williams Malone, Isabelle (Tony) Williams, Carole Campbell and Cathleen Campbell and uncle Rick (Tami) Campbell and many loving cousins and friends. Caleb is predeceased by his grandparents, Sharon and Gene Williams; a younger sister, Cheryl “Christy” Campbell; and his uncle Sam Williams. There will be a public viewing from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at Cattermole Funeral Home at 203 NW Kerron St, Winlock, Washington, 98596. The family invites all to bring a favorite dish to a potluck celebration of Caleb’s life to be held at the Creekside Event Center from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at 2923 Jackson Hwy, Chehalis, Washington, 98532.
