Bob Randall Obituary

Bob R. Randall, of Salkum, Washington passed away 7/23/19 at Centralia Hospital. He was 81 years old. As a young man Bob married the refined mother of his children Donna M. Clark. He was blessed to spend his later years with his best friend and partner, Shirley Hadaller. Bob was involved in many service and social organizations as a young man. Army National Guard, Lions, Elks, and Eagles Clubs to name a few. He worked a variety of jobs growing up, found his love for sales working for Gesler-McNiven, and went on to own and operate Bob’s Bed and Bunk before working for Uhlman Motors. Retiring at age 48, he spent his time traveling, working alongside his brother Ben at Cowlitz Timber Trails, fishing, combing the beach, telling stories both short and tall, and buying, selling, and trading goods. Bob lived a very charmed life but not without heartache. He is preceded in death by his parents Lewis (Snooks) and Ruby (Hurley) Randall, Step Father Harold Burlingame, brothers Bill and Ben Randall, sisters Betty Klumper and Muriel Randall, Donna M. Clark, life partner Shirley Hadaller, and countless other family members and friends. Bob leaves behind his son Darin and Sandi (Noel) Randall of Centralia, Daughter Megan Johnson of Mill Creek, grand children Leslie Randall, Leah Randall, Tarayn Johnson, Tasha Anderson, Clark Randall, great grandchildren, Harvey Kitchel, Ruby Anderson, Theia Allan, Bailey Anderson and brother Rick Burlingame. Bob’s greatest accomplishment was his family, nothing made him prouder. A close second was the relationships he made with friends from all over Lewis and Grays Harbor county. He said recently with tear filled eyes, “although most of my friends are dead, I wish I could tell the ones who are still living that I love them and am grateful for all the laughter.” So, for those of you who are still living, you were loved by a man with a very strong heart. .
