Billie Salzer Obituary

Billie Marie Salzar was born to Iva Bell Conway and William Ferris Thorson on October 27th 1946 in Pocatello Idaho. Billie passed away at St Peter's Hospital surrounded by her family on Feb 23rd 2025. 

Billie married her first husband Ray Goins in 1964 and they had four children together Renee Barnes, Aimee Goins, Amber Towne and Roy Goines. 

She Married her second husband Dave Salzer in 1986, and her 3rd husband Jack Mcnurlin in 1992. 

She had several different occupations throughout her life. Her last occupation was in home caregiver she provided care for her mother and her son until they both passed away. 

Billie was a Jehovah's Witness for most of her adult life. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her. She would spend as much time as she could with them, and they brought joy to her life. She also loved making Junk Journals and would spend every moment she could making these unique books. We will cherish the memories we have of her and the time that we got to spend with her. 

The family had decided that there will be a Memorial to Celebrate her life at a later date.

Billie is preceded in death by bother her parents, two of her sisters Wilma Greene and Banita Talbot, her son Roy Goins, her grandson Zane Goins and two of her ex-husbands Ray Goins and Jack Mcnurlin. She is survived by her 3 daughters Renee (Don) Barnes, Aimee Goins, and Amber (Greg) Towne, her grandchildren Anika, Ellie and Keegan Barnes, Ethan Wilson, Chase Goodin, Amanda and Justin Roberts, Hailey Harless, Shyanne Goins, Jessica Quezada, Elijah Towne, Logan Towne and Spencer Towne, Caleb, Jaden and Sidney Goins, Jonathan Brown, Hayley Wolfinger and her great grandchildren Addison and Lauren Mock, Kimber Lang, Justin Jr. and Dakota Roberts, Gabriel Harless and ShaKiera Harless-James.
