Betty Lou Rexroad, 94, Of Mossyrock, Washington, passed away on February 12, 2025. She was a kidney dialysis patient for the last 15 months of her life. She was born in Centralia, Washington, April 2, 1930, to Maude (Branson) and A. Tate Berry.
Betty Lou lived her entire life in Mossyrock. She worked as a bus driver for Mossyrock School District, was a longtime employee of Aldrich Berry Farm, worked in Morton at the Champion Lumber Mill and worked a short stint for Columbia Helicopters. After retirement, she volunteered for six years with the Lewis County Guardian Ad Litem program.
Betty Lou was preceded in death by husbands, Mack Handly and Charles Rexroad, Jr.; son, Lonnie Handly; and daughter, Maxine Neitzel. She is survived by seven daughters, Vada (Jeff) Mitchell, Alida (Bob) Godfrey, Jo (Dennis) Birley, Becky (Geeg) Ecklund, Bobbi (Ray) Hamilton, Shannon (Jack) Perkins and Tabitha Handly; one son, Drew Handly; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., March 29, 2025, at the Mossyrock Horse and Rider Club.
