Walter Fehrer Obituary

Walter Adam Fehrer Jr. was born on March 1, 1928, in Herington, Kansas. He passed away on February 9, 2018, in Eugene, Oregon. He is survived by his wife Alice. They were married for sixty-six years. Walter served nine years in the Navy and twelve years in the Air Force. From which he retired in 1966. He lived in the Eugene/Springfield area since 1968. Walter worked and retired as a carpenter in commercial construction. Walter is also survived by his son Wayne, his wife Christine Fehrer. His daughter Laurie, her husband Ben Clark. Also four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was member of Camp Creek Church in Springfield Oregon. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Cattermole Funeral Home, Saturday, Feb. 17, with a graveside service with military honors to follow at the Winlock Cemetery
