Vernie Maggard Obituary

Vernie Ray Maggard (Red), 82, was called home on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his home in Morton. His health had been poor for a while and he had been awaiting the call to be with The Lord. He leaves two siblings, Loretta and Margie and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma February 26, 1937 his family soon relocated to California where Red spent the majority of his life. In 2012, Red moved to Washington to be closer to his siblings and took up residence in Morton. Red will be remembered for his skills as a mechanic, faith in God, love of his family and his deep appreciation for a good discussion. Memorial Services for Red will be announced soon. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock.
