Robert "Bob" D Workman

Robert (Bob) Workman, 87, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2019. Bob was born August 8th, 1931 in Tacoma, Washington. He attended Mossyrock High School before joining the Navy and serving as signal-man for four years. In 1955, he married Barbara Thayer and together they raised three children. Bob worked for Boeing and various other jobs before starting Workman Contracting, with his son, Jerald. Bob loved his family and spending time with them. He supported his kids and grandkids in all their various activities. He was an avid Washington Huskies fan and the world would come to a halt when a game came on. He would share his knowledge and love of Husky sports to anyone willing to listen. Bob also enjoyed camping and horseback riding in the mountains. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara, of 63 years, three children, Sheryl (Gordon) Coleman, Jerald (Johanna) Workman, all of Mossyrock; and Denise (Larry) Solverson of Spokane; Twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Wanda Russell, of Moses Lake and his brother, Jim Workman, of Arizona. Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held Saturday, August 3rd, 2:00pm at Mossyrock Assembly of God, where he attended. Reception following.
