Mamie L Gardin

4/28/1932 to 5/1/2019 Mamie L. Gardin was born in Marion, North Carolina to Pearl and Albert Lamb, and was the fifth of seven children. John Gardin and Mamie were married August 9, 1948. Their life together brought them four children. Mamie was a good Christian, outstanding mother and good wife to her husband of 70 years. Mamie was a homemaker and bookkeeper of the family logging and trucking business. She was a proud and loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild. She is survived by her sister, Lucille of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Dave (Cheri) of Toledo; and daughter, Loretta of Winlock. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 11, at Toledo First Baptist Church, with a luncheon to follow.
