Kent B Kilbourn

Kent Kilbourn died on July 26, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born August 25, 1934 to Basil and Elizabeth Kilbourn in Bakersfield, California. He graduated from Castle Rock High School in 1952. He pursued additional education at Lower Columbia College and the University of Washington. He joined the Naval Reserves for several years and served active duty in the Navy from 1957 to 1959. He was employed at Boeing Company in Seattle and then at Uhlmann auto and RV Company in Chehalis. Kent married Sharon Smith in 1955 and had been married for 64 years prior to his death. Kent was predeceased by his parents and his sister Gail Pruett. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Smith), son Kendall (Kristina) of Marysville, daughter Jennifer of Portland, OR, daughter Kristin (Vern) Roy of Chehalis and four grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on August 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
