James "Jim" Clarke

James Sharon Clarke The Commander 4/7/26-8/25/19 James Clarke passed away Sunday August 25,2019 at Providence Hospital in Centralia Washington. He was 93 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack H. and Sarah Rebecca Clarke as well as his six siblings and his two wives Helen and Ruth. He will be greatly missed by his three children Fred Clark, Sue Sjolund and Jim Clark as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. During his lifetime, Jim was a US Navy sailor, retired pipe fitter, business man, bartender and a chef. He was hardworking and adventurous with a big heart and an easy laugh. There will be a graveside service at Claquato cemetery in Chehalis Washington on September 21, 2019 at 11:00am. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00pm at the American Legion Post 17 in Centralia Washington. Jim was very proud of his work with the Moose Lodge and the American Legion where he was the Commander for several years.
