James R. Lowther

Born: December 15, 1947 in Morton, Washington

Passed Away: November 14, 2018 in Puyallup, Washington

Parents (Both Deceased): Johnnie R. (1989) and Katherine B. Lowther (1999) of Packwood, Washington.

Raised in Packwood and lived in Centralia. He went to Grade School in Packwood and High School in Randle, Washington at White Pass High School.

Married: Jeri L. (Beondik) Lowther of Centralia on June 12, 1971.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; Johnnie R. Lowther in 1989 and Katherine B. Lowther in 1999 and 2 brother’s; Robert W. Lowther in 1974, and Scott L. Lowther in 2007.

Jim started off right out of school in 1969 with his logging career. Starting as a choker setter he worked his way up as a shovel operator for the last 40 years. Working for many logging companies the last 48 years such as; Ralph Warner Logging, Dennis Davis Logging, Depaul Chip, Brian Reed Logging, and many more. He loved working hard and with that, playing hard. He was a person that loved helping everyone. He loved going hunting, fishing, playing pool, playing slots, and being near his family and friends. Jim had a great sense of humor and was loved and will be missed by all.

Survived by: his wife Jeri (Beondik) Lowther of Centralia, his daughter Lisa Morris (Todd) of Centralia, his son Jimmie Lowther of Centralia, 4 Grandsons (significant others); Jeremy Morris (Joshlyn), Justin Morris (Haley) from Centralia. Eric and Jake Lowther from Florida, 2 Granddaughters; Serena from Florida, and Shelby from Centralia, his sister Cynthia & Larry Richardson, of Adna, and his brothers: Johnnie & Kim of Packwood, Terry and Leslee, and Tim and Sharon, of Centralia. And numerous nieces and nephews.
