Imogene Birley

Imogene Birley went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 26, 2018 after a short illness. She was a member of the First Church of God, Morton, WA. Imogene was born in Hardy, Nebraska on May 4, 1928, to Orville and Mildred McCutchan. Her family relocated to Washington state in the late ‘30’s, eventually settling in Mossyrock, where Imogene eventually met Rodger Birley. They were married on January 17, 1948. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed traveling, attending her children and grandchildren’s activities, and loved family get togethers. Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger, her parents, brother, and two grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Jo) of Yakima, Greg (Julie), of Rancho Mirage, CA, and Ron (Kathy), of Renton; four grandsons, one granddaughter, nine great-grandchildren, brother Larry (Diane) McCutchan, and two nephews. Imogene will be missed by her family and many friends. A memorial for Imogene Birley will be held February 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God, Morton, WA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Church of God in Morton. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock, WA.
