Helen Marshall Obituary

Helen Margaret Marshall passed away June 29, 2019 in Longview, WA.  She was born January 22, 1925 in Nashua, Minnesota to Erwin F. Pasch and Helena Trappen Pasch.  She was the oldest of six children.

Helen moved to Longview at age 21 and began work at Longview Fiber Company where she met her future husband Henry Marshall. They had two sons.  She was a well-known long time bowler in Longview. Helen was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and belonged to St. Joseph’s Circle. Helen was a hospital volunteer, an avid reader and she loved to walk whenever she could. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the beach with family and friends.  She never missed an opportunity to go to the Casinos.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Henry and her four brothers, Francis, Albert, Allan, and Linus.  She is survived by her sister Carrol Lewis of Texas, sons David (Marianne) and Steven, both of Longview.  Also surviving are her two grandchildren Andrew (Kate) of Longview and DeAnna (Steve) of Tacoma as well and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Helen’s request, there will not be a service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Community Home Health and Hospice, PO Box 2067 Longview, WA, 98632 or donate at www.chhh.org . Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock.
