George M. Sisley went to be with the Lord August 9, 2019 at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Jim and Maybelle Sisley. George was a member of the United States Army and served in Vietnam 1967-1969. He received two Purple Hearts for his bravery fighting for our country. For over 40 years George drove long haul trucks and moved on to driving log trucks and retired with the late Elmer Cook Trucking Inc. in Chehalis, Washington. George loved being with his family and his grandchildren as well as working around his farm he built. George was known for his meticulousness with keeping things neat and tidy. He always negotiated trying to get the best deal he could when it came to buying anything from anybody. George was very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. George is survived by his wife Janice; his son Chuck and wife Karen; his daughter Michelle her husband Trent; Daughter Sabrina. He also had four stepsons; Scott, Darrin, Shawn, and Daniel and foster daughter, Jennifer Dodds who he raised as his own. He also had numerous grandchildren and many great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service held in honor for George on Friday August 23rd at Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock, at 3 P.M., with a reception to follow.
