Donald Vernon Burrows March 24, 1925 - March 20, 2019. Donald Vernon Burrows was born in Winlock, Washington to Agnes and Amos Burrows who preceded him in death. Also preceding Donald in death was his wife of 71 years, Betty Lou Burrows and a son, Vernon Lee Burrows. Survivors include a brother Richard Burrows, two daughters, Kala Murray (Mike), Toni Scott (Lloyd); six grandchildren, Kelly Snaza (Bill), Travis Murray (Julia), Randy Murray (Danielle), Jordan Gong (Brian), Griffin Scott (Kasey), and Logan Scott. Nine great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Jaynie, Joey, Mason, Halli, Emma, Brenner, Chandler, and Beckham, and two loving God daughters, Kathy Rhodes and Susan Rhodes. Donald is a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army from 1943-1946. He was stationed in the Philippines. Donald was a logger in Ryderwood until moving to Longview. He worked for Longbell for several years before hiring on as a Longshoreman at the Port of Longview where he remained until retiring. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and camping with the Good Sam Club. At Donald's request there will be no service.
