Dennis L Faulkner Sr.

Dennis Lynn Faulkner Sr. passed away unexpectedly July 9, 2018. Dennis was born on November 26, 1954 in Toppenish, Washington he was the son and only child to Marvin and Mary (Richards) Faulkner. During his childhood Marvin, Mary and Dennis moved to Dorris, California. Dennis graduated from Butte Valley High School in 1972, where he studied drafting and biology. That same year Dennis and his parents moved back to Washington to Copalis Beach. When it came to work Dennis was an extremely hard-worker, very particular and skillful at any job he performed. Dennis worked many years as an Equipment Operator, Construction Supervisor, Log Truck driver and Owner, General Contractor co-owner and operator, and Millwright. Dennis’ final company he worked for was Brumfield Construction from June 2006 until he retired with them December 2017. Even after retirement, he keep busy doing side General Contracting jobs. In 1977, Dennis married Kathy Ann Johnson and they stayed in the Copalis Beach area. They began their family in Aberdeen, WA in 1979 when daughter Angela was born, blessed again in 1983 when daughter Brandy was born, and their final blessing was in 1985 when son Dennis Jr. arrived. The family relocated to Rochester, WA around 1988. In June of 2016, Dennis re-married to Denise Woods, and they resided in Onalaska, WA on their farm. Dennis enjoyed racing at South Sound Speedway, mud drags and mud bogs. More important to him was participating and watching his kids and grandkids in 4-H, horseback riding and quarter midget racing. He loved watching Nascar, tinkering on cars or project vehicles, and working on the farm. Dennis was a big man but had an even bigger heart. He was always so willing to help anyone out who was in need. He gave from his heart always. Dennis had a great sense of humor and some might say he was sarcastic. Dennis is survived by his wife Denise Faulkner of Onalaska, WA, daughter and son-in-law Angela and Brandon Siebol of Yakima, WA, daughter and son-in-law Brandy and Travis Hoselton Rochester, WA, son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Natalie Faulkner Jr. Winlock, WA, son Bradley Ersland Yakima, WA, Step-daughter/son Ashley and Josh Aiken Onalaska, WA, Step-daughter Taylor Woods Tumwater, WA, and Step-son Colton Woods Centralia, WA. 6 granddaughter’s Kyley Tremblay, Taylor and Emma Siebol, Sadie and Maggie Faulkner, and Riley Aiken. 2 grandson’s Kody Siebol and Cale Faulkner. Dennis was preceded in death by father Marvin Cordell Faulkner, Mary (Richards) Faulkner and his childrens mother Kathy Ann Ersland. A private celebration of life will be held on July 21st, 2018.
