Charlotte Theresa Runyon, 57, passed away at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, Wash., July 16, 2018. She was born in Lake Charles, La., June 13, 1961. Charlotte spent the entirety of her career working at Providence Centralia Hospital, where at the time of her death, she was surrounded by family, friends and colleagues. Charlotte was something of a dog whisperer and regularly donated time to a local area shelter, in addition to raising her own pups. She was creative and artistic and enjoyed spending time outside with nature through activities like fishing, camping and gardening. Charlotte also enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, quilting and crafting. She was a loving and giving person. Charlotte and Darrel were married Nov. 8, 1985. They were married for 32 years. Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, John Edwin Murray Jr.; her brother, John Edwin Murray III; and her father-in-law, Hervie Leroy Runyon. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Darrel Leroy Runyon of Chehalis, Wash.; mother, Nelda Murray of Anacoco, La.; sister Rebecca Murray of Lenexa, Kan., mother-in-law, Anne Runyon; sisters-in-law, Luana Kain of Centralia, Wash., and Joanne Coghlan of Rochester, Wash.; brother-in-law, Michael Kain of Centralia, Wash.; niece, Sylka Coghlan of Rochester, Wash.; nephew, Tommy Kain of Centralia, Wash.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. At Charlotte’s request, there will be no services.
