Betty Lou Burrows July 24, 1929 — Oct. 30, 2018 Betty Lou Burrows was born in Denver, Colo., and passed away in Longview. She was preceded in death by parents, Grady and Juanita Rister of Ryderwood, Wash.; and a son, Vernon Lee Burrows. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Donald Vernon Burrows; two daughters, Kala Murray (Mike), and Toni Scott (Lloyd); six grandchildren, Kelly Snaza (Bill), Travis Murray (Julia), Randy Murray (Danielle), Jordan Gong (Brian), Griffin Scott (Kasey), and Logan Scott; seven great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Jaynie, Joey, Mason, Emma, Brenner and Chandler; and two loving God-daughters, Kathy and Susan Rhodes. Betty loved her home, gardening, crafting and camping with the Good Sam Club. She will be missed greatly by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dementia Society of America. At Betty’s request there will be no services. Arrangements are by Cattermole Funeral Home.
