Willard "Ray" Raymor

Willard "Ray" Elroy Raymor, 79, passed away peacefully at home in Onalaska Nov. 14, 2017, surrounded by family. He was born June 14, 1938, in Detroit, MI. Ray had lengthy ties to the community, starting in the mid 1960s, when he started Quality Janitorial Service. He then went on to start Maintenance Research in 1973, and was also the founder of Lewis County Chemical in 1987. Ray enjoyed his career and the many employees and customers he got to know over five decades. He and his wife, Diann enjoyed working on their property in Onalaska and spending time at their vacation home in Mexico. Ray had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed scuba diving, being a pilot, playing pool, watching sports with his sons, golfing and spending time with his family and members of his congregation. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he had a love for the ministry that moved him to travel to many locations around the world to share the Kingdom hope with others. Ray is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diann Raymor; seven children, Francine Raymor of Port Townsend, Debbie Raymor of Centralia, John Raymor of Lakebay, Charles "Sam" Raymor of Port Townsend, Brian Raymor of Chehalis, Chris Raymor of Anacortes and Kelsey Collins of Portland; siblings, Charles Raymor, Jackie Raymor, John Raymor, Dianna Winters, Sharon Witcher, Sue (Presley) Bohanon, Raymond Raymor, Tommy Raymor and David Raymor; 14 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eleanor Raymor; sister, Deloris Birkinbine; and grandson, Jaron Middleton A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Nov. 25, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 217 Harmon Rd., Chehalis, Wash.
