Socorro M Romero

Socorro (Coco) Romero, past away, at the age of 89, at her home in Winlock, where she lived with her daughter Rosie and son-in-law Ted. Socorro was born in Independence, Kansas on July 13, 1927. She was the youngest of 6 children. Coco married Jessie on December 10, 1945 in Kansas had 5 children. They moved to California in 1953 and bought a little home in Hamilton City in 1970. Coco always had lots of beautiful African violets and enjoyed watching Jessie work outside with the fruit trees and the yard. Socorro was preceded in death by her husband Jessie, 2 sons, Manuel and Chris, 3 sisters, Carmen, Raffilla and Rosie, and loving Antonio Tapia. She is survived by her daughter Rosie, sons, Frank and Michael Romero, sister Lilla Hunter; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; 4 great - great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The lord has taken her home to meet up with her husband, sons and the rest of her loved ones. She will taken to Orland, California to be laid to rest with her family
