March 15, 1967 ~ March 24, 2017 (age 50) 50 Years Old

Shawn Phillip Breneman of Winlock, Washington was born on March 15, 1967 and he passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 24, 2017. He was born in Everett, Washington and attended schools in Lakewood and he graduated from Winlock High School. He went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. HIs service was a source of pride for him and his family as well. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Edward Breneman, who was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his mother Betty Breneman, his siblings Michael, Patti and Sharon all of the Arlington area. He was recently married to the former Laura Thaden Haugen in a beautiful ceremony held in the Veterans Hospital in Seattle and she continues to reside in Winlock. He touched a lot of peoples lives and hearts and he will be sorely missed. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and was a skilled laborer and mechanic. Burial services will be held at Little Falls Cemetery in Vader Washington on Sunday April 23rd at 12:30 to be attended by family and friends. There will be a celebration of Shawn's life at the Olequa Senior Center 119 S.W. Kerron St. in Winlock, from 2pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, Shawn would have been pleased and proud to provide donations to the Olequa Senior Center.
