Ruth Helen Modrow

Ruth Modrow             April 10 1922 - October 14, 2016

Despite threatening to outlive all of us Ruth graciously threw in the towel on October 14, 2016. Ruth is survived by her llama, Jeraldo, her dog, Tosha, her son, Jerald and family, a sister, Doris, cousin, Omar, and countless friends. Born to Dora and Olaf Nelson on April 10, 1922 in Petersburg, North Dakota. Married to Guy Modrow November 2, 1941 in Rugby, North Dakota with whom she enjoyed 61 years of Guy grounding her when she got excited. Ruth and Guy were missionary linguists for 50 years bringing the Gospel to people around the world. A memorial service for Ruth will be held at Christian Fellowship, 630 Cemetery Rd, Winlock WA, on Saturday, November 5 at 11:00 am.
