Kenneth Lee Mott, 53, of Centralia, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Wash. Ken was born June 18, 1963, in Spokane, Wash., to Clyde Dennis Mott and Margaret Florence Powell, the youngest of 11 children. When Ken was 17, he relocated to Centralia, Wash., where a few years later, he met the love of his life, Kelli Jo O'Reilly. The two settled down, built and raised a family and became vital contributors to the community. Ken obtained employment with Lewis County Work Opportunity, where he was a loyal and reliable employee for over 20 years. Recently, he went back to school and obtained his GED and job training to work on small engines. Ken was the mechanic of the family and fixed many family and friends vehicles time and time again. He lived a life that was a great example of giving without expectation. He never expected a dime in return and wanted no recognition. Ken helped coach youth sports, volunteered for various events and organizations and was always happy to give of himself to others. He enjoyed community events, family barbecues, sports and John Wayne westerns. Ken will be missed greatly by his friends and family. He is survived by his partner of over 30 years, Kelli Jo O'Reilly; son, Christopher Joe Mott; daughter, Kendra Marie Mott; sister, Sherry Priest; brother, William Mott; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
